Every photographer is different in their package options. My packages include a DVD of your selected images in high resolution, so that you have the flexibility to print, share and use the photos as you wish. I find this is becoming a very popular option.
One important point to note when you take your photos in for printing is that depending on the size of the prints you are ordering, they may have some cropping done to them. An SLR generally captures images in a 3:2 ratio. A 4 x 6 photo is the same ratio and therefore, no cropping occurs when you order your prints. The ratios vary depending on the sizes chosen - here are some popular sizes; 5 x 7 = 7:5 8 x 10 = 5:4 6 x 8 = 4:3 8 x 12 = 3:2 Where the ratio is not 3:2, some cropping will occur. It is important to review each image on the screen prior to ordering your prints to ensure the cropping occurs in the best possible spot for the photo. The photo can be repositioned to make it fit as best as possible for the selected size. This morning I received a message from a client with a photo of the calendars she had printed with the photos from her newborn shoot (picture below). They look amazing and it was a wonderful gift idea for the grandparents. Other ideas of how you can use your selected images; - Your computer wallpaper or screensaver - Sharing on social media - Making an album or photo book - Calendars - Canvas - Emailing to family and friends - Thank you cards If you would like for me to arrange any prints for you, I would be happy to do so, so please contact me to discuss pricing.
